Cranial reconstructive surgery is an operation in which an opening is made, in the skull to allow us to get to the brain or its blood vessels. It is performed for a number of reasons including, removal of a lump or tumor, such as a meningioma.
There are many different types of brain cancer. Some that form and begin in your brain and others that spread to the brain from cancer that starts somewhere else in your body. Removal of tumor is also a type of brain cancer and there are treatments depending on the type, size and origin of the cancer.
